Welcome to the
EXCITAR GOLF ACADEMY
@ Carswell Golf and Country Club.
 
 The EXCITAR GOLF ACADEMY opened its doors in the summer of 2007, following the successful revamp of the driving range. The Practice facilities on offer have created a practice area that will improve the learning experience for everyone.
 
The EXCITAR GOLF DRIVING RANGE has been recently updated, and now offers new premium mats which are designed to closely imitate real grass, new SRIXON 2-piece range balls, 2 full size target greens, a pitching net and even heating in some of its 12 bays. Furthermore, the driving range is floodlit - meaning that you can practice late into the night!
 
Golf is a game that is not easy to understand - no matter what level you are at. For the total beginner, golf can seem daunting, difficult and stuffy - for the experienced golfer it can seem confusing, frustrating and sometimes humiliating! Here at The EXCITAR GOLF ACADEMY, we aim to put these things right by proving a relaxed and fun atmosphere built around our philosophy of enlightenment. We believe that the best way to learn is to understand, and all lessons focus on ensuring that the pupil leaves the lesson having a CLEAR understanding of exactly what needs to be worked on and why.
 
To facilitate the learning experience, The EXCITAR GOLF ACADEMY have recruited the help of some of the worlds best training aids. During the summer of 2007 we added The EXPLANAR Professional Training System ( www.explanar.com ) to our large selection of training aids, all of which compliment the use of the CSWING Video Analysis software which we use when necessary. The CSWING software enables each pupil to view a digital video of there particular swing - an essential tool in gaining further understanding of there particular golf swing.

At The EXCITAR GOLF ACADEMY, we offer a number of lesson options, from individual 30 minute lessons, to half-day short game lessons and from junior group lessons to senior roll-up lessons.
